Dozens of firefighters put out fire at wood processing plant

The Fire Department mobilized 6 specialized vehicles and over 50 firefighters to the scene to put out the fire.

By the morning of December 4, Dong Nai fire prevention and fighting forces had just extinguished the fire at Vu Tam Ngoc Phat wood processing and export production company, located in Quarter 13, Ho Nai Ward, Bien Hoa City.

According to initial information, at around 10pm on December 3, people discovered a fire breaking out from the company's warehouse and quickly became fierce. Because the factory mainly contained processed wood products, the fire spread quickly. Upon receiving the news, the Dong Nai Fire Prevention and Fighting Force mobilized 6 specialized vehicles and over 50 firefighters to the scene to put out the fire.

Because the company is located in a residential area and the road is small, it was difficult for the fire truck and firefighters to reach the scene. By around 1am on December 4, the fire had spread to the house next door and burned down the nearly 200m2 tire recycling facility.

The fire was brought under control at nearly 2 a.m. on December 4. The fire burned down nearly 1,000 square meters of Vu Tam Ngoc Phat Company's warehouse along with many machines and exported wooden products. The estimated damage was in the billions of dong.
