Dozens of people participated in rescuing pigs from the flood.
When the pig farming area of Nghia Loc commune was flooded, dozens of local residents and authorities participated in the rescue effort.
Due to the influence of a tropical depression, from the night of September 15th to the morning of September 16th, the northwestern area of Nghe An province experienced continuous heavy rain. The rain caused flooding on many roads, and particularly severely affected many residential areas.

In Vinh Loc and Nam Long hamlets (Nghia Loc commune), many livestock areas and farms belonging to local farmers were also flooded. In particular, the families of Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh in Vinh Loc hamlet and Mr. Tran Van Huu in Nam Long hamlet have herds of pigs and chickens at risk of being swept away by the water.

In response to the situation, Nghia Loc commune coordinated with military and police forces and local residents to assist the two families in rescuing their entire herd of pigs and bringing them to safety.
