(Baonghean.vn) - In recent days, thousands of people from Cam Son commune have flocked to the commune's central stadium to participate in the biggest sports event of the year in the locality: the 2017 Youth Football Tournament.

This year's Cam Son Commune Youth Football Tournament (Anh Son District) brought together 10 teams from various villages and hamlets in the area. Although it was only a commune-level tournament, the teams were well-prepared and trained extensively in terms of physical fitness, technique, and tactics. The tournament, held from July 5th to 12th, 2017, attracted thousands of spectators. Remarkably, despite being a youth tournament, a large number of spectators of all ages followed the matches closely.

As a mountainous commune, the lives of the people depend on agricultural production, but in recent years, Cam Son commune has become known as a locality with a strong mass sports movement in Anh Son district. In football specifically, the commune has contributed many quality players to the district over the years.

After a series of dramatic and exciting qualifying matches, the two best teams from Cam Hoa and Ha Du villages competed in the final. Ultimately, the first prize went to the Ha Du youth team, while the Cam Hoa youth team finished second; the third prize was awarded to the Ke May youth team.
