In Quynh Thang commune (Quynh Luu), there are about 50 hectares of oranges and tangerines grown by people on the hills to harvest during Tet.Mr. Tran Danh Pho's family - Dong Xuan hamlet is one of the pioneers in bringing orange trees to experimentally plant on 4.5 hectares of hill garden land with PQ1 sweet tangerine varieties; Valenxia oranges, Xa Doai oranges.
According to Mr. Pho, each hectare of citrus trees is planted with about 500 - 600 trees. After 3 years of care, the citrus trees will yield the first harvest with a value of about 120 million VND per hectare. Starting from the 4th year, each hectare of citrus trees will yield a harvest of 200 - 300 million VND, many times higher than other crops. Mr. Pho excitedly said: "Currently, tangerines are sold during Tet until January or February, depending on the number of buyers. The current output is very good..."

Mr. Sy said that they are currently actively taking care of them, waiting for the golden ripe tangerines to be sold on the market before Tet. It is estimated that his tangerine garden will yield about 15 tons of fruit.
Also in Quynh Luu hamlet, Tan An commune, Ho Ba Tung's family has 3 sao of land growing apple trees. Currently, his family's apple garden has begun to ripen and is gradually being harvested. However, because this year there are fewer apples than last year, his family mainly saves them to sell during the Lunar New Year, hoping for a good price.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung - Vice Chairman of Tan An Commune People's Committee said: This Tet holiday, local people have some products to supply to the market: chicken, tangerines, apples... In the commune, there are 6 hectares of tangerines and about 2 hectares of apples waiting to be sold at the end of the year and some chicken farms with a scale of 500 - 1,500 chickens.
According to the estimate of the district's Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, this Lunar New Year, Tan Ky farmers have a number of products to supply to the market: Molasses in Tan Huong, Nghia Hanh; tangerines, apples, oranges about 30 hectares in Tan Phu, Tan An, Ky Son... In particular, in the district there are currently over 10 farms and stations raising free-range chickens, with a scale of 1,000 or more, this Tet is estimated to supply the market with dozens of tons of chicken meat.
