(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 20th, the first Folk Song Festival of Vinh City was organized by the Vinh City Youth Union. The program received enthusiastic participation from a large number of students in the city.

This is the first time the Ví, Giặm folk singing festival has been organized for high school students and university/college students. This year's festival features the participation of 12 units, including 8 high schools and 4 universities/colleges.

Set to the melodies of Nghe An's Ví and Giặm folk songs, schools presented many elaborately staged and captivating performances, with themes praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland, and celebrating family, teacher-student, and friendship relationships.
