Youth groups in Tuong Duong and Thanh Chuong districts donated hundreds of free meals, thousands of cups of cool water, and provided resting places for candidates and their families after the first exam of the 2025 10th grade entrance exam.
In the "Supporting Students During Exams" program, Youth Union branches in Nghe An province focused on providing free meals to support exam candidates and their families. In particular, disadvantaged candidates and those living far from exam locations were thoroughly surveyed and documented so that local Youth Union branches could provide timely assistance. The district has a large population of ethnic minority children, many of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds, so the Youth Union branches closely supported them before, during, and after the exam. For the families of the candidates, over 50 parents and students received free accommodation. This year, Nghe An province has 39,130 candidates registered to take the exam for 69 public schools throughout the province. The candidates will take the exam at 71 examination centers with 1,664 examination rooms..
DAccompanying exam candidates and their families, more than 2,100 youth union members and young people participated in over 200 volunteer teams of the "Exam Support Campaign" across various localities.
According to Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy, Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, the volunteer youth teams not only guided traffic flow, assisted with luggage storage, and provided cool water, but also offered free meals and accommodation. This activity was implemented effectively, tailored to the needs of the candidates. In particular, candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds and those living far away received close support from the Youth Union at all levels, encouraging them to perform well and confidently complete the remaining subjects.
