Tens of thousands of people gathered along Dinh Tien Hoang, Hang Bai, Trang Tien, Hang Khay streets and the area around Ba Dinh Square. The favorable positions to watch the parade on the morning of September 2 were full.

Hanoi Railway Station became a major gathering place. People from the provinces spread mats and tarpaulins across the waiting rooms, lobbies, and even the foot of the stairs to rest overnight. Many families took advantage of the opportunity to have dinner on the spot with food they had brought with them.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong (45 years old, Bac Ninh) shared that her family stayed up all night to watch the rehearsal and this time decided to "camp" at the station from the morning to have a place to rest and keep a good location.

The hospital installed a large screen for patients to watch the ceremony.

Joining in the atmosphere, Bach Mai Hospital installed a large screen so that patients and their relatives could watch the parade live. This activity aims to take care of mental health, bringing joy and national pride to those undergoing treatment.

Mobilize maximum force to maintain urban sanitation

To serve the grand ceremony, Hanoi Urban Environment Company (URENCO) mobilized its workforce to work 24/7. They added 800 trash bag racks and 53 mobile toilets at crowded places.

Many people also proactively bring plastic bags to collect trash, join hands to maintain public hygiene, and promote the image of a civilized, clean and beautiful Hanoi.
