Assaulted a friend for just 10,000 VND
The incident occurred at Thanh Hoa Vocational College in Dong Cuong ward, Thanh Hoa city on the afternoon of December 17, 2024.
On December 19, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that Thanh Hoa City Police investigated and summoned related subjects to clarify the behavior and cause of the incident.
According to the reporter's records, at around 11:30 a.m. on December 18, 2024, a clip was circulated on many social media platforms recording the image of a male student being punched and kicked repeatedly by a friend, causing the male student to fall to the ground, holding his face.
It is worth mentioning that when the male student collapsed on the schoolyard without resisting, the other person continued to kick him in the stomach and face. At the time of the incident, there were many students witnessing the incident but no one intervened, many even stood there laughing and joking.
Immediately after receiving the information, Thanh Hoa City Police mobilized forces and urgently coordinated with relevant units to verify and clarify the above reflection. After less than an hour, Thanh Hoa City Police determined that the incident in the above clip occurred at Thanh Hoa Vocational College in Dong Cuong Ward, Thanh Hoa City.
At the same time, the police agency clearly identified the person who used force against his classmate as Vo Tien Minh (born 2008), residing in Xuan Giang commune, Tho Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province.
Thanh Hoa City Police have summoned Minh and related people to work.
At the investigation agency, Vo Tien Minh initially confessed and admitted all of his actions.
According to Minh, at around 2:00 p.m. on December 17, 2024, student VVT (born in 2009), residing in Thieu Duong ward, Thanh Hoa city, dropped a 10,000 VND bill in the classroom. Vo Tien Minh was the one who picked up the bill.
When VVT found out that Minh picked up her money, he asked for it back but Minh refused. At this point, a conflict broke out between the two sides, they cursed at each other, and then VVT snatched the money back from Minh's hand.
At 5:00 p.m. the same day, when VVT was walking with his friends in the schoolyard, Minh saw him and suddenly rushed in, using his hands and feet to hit and punch VVT in the face, head, and arms, causing injuries.
Currently, Thanh Hoa City Police Department is continuing to investigate and strictly handle according to the provisions of law.
