Passenger from Nghe An unexpectedly goes into labor on the Thong Nhat train.
This morning (January 16th), Mr. Thai Van Truyen - Director of the Southern Passenger Service Team - announced that the passenger service team of the Thong Nhat SE6 train successfully assisted a pregnant woman in giving birth while passing through Quang Binh province.
The SE6 train departed from Saigon station at 9:00 AM on January 15th, under the supervision of train conductor Nguyen Dinh Tai. Around 7:00 AM on January 16th, while the train was passing through Quang Binh province, passenger Truong Thi O. (born in 1989, from Nghe An) unexpectedly went into labor.

The captain and flight attendants immediately came to her aid, preparing warm water, towels, antiseptic alcohol, paper, and other supplies… while simultaneously using the loudspeaker to call for passengers with medical expertise to assist. However, no passenger was available, and the flight crew reluctantly became midwives.

Reportedly, this is not the first time the flight attendants on the Thong Nhat train have successfully assisted in childbirth.
