(Baonghean.vn) - "Boss" Denh Cha Cong directly crossed the border into Laos to buy drugs, set up a camp in the deep forest, and assigned followers equipped with guns and bullets to act as "navigators" to buy and sell drugs and make illegal profits.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, on June 7, Ky Son District Police successfully arrested Denh Cha Cong (born in 1975, residing in Nhot Kho village, Bac Ly commune), a subject who specialized in supplying drugs to addicts in the area.

Previously, the police of Ky Son district discovered a group of criminals in Bac Ly commune setting up tents and carrying “hot” weapons to illegally buy and sell drugs in the deep forest. They operated with extremely sophisticated and reckless methods and tricks, ready to fight back fiercely if discovered and surrounded by the authorities.

Using professional measures, detectives identified the leader of this gang as "boss" Denh Cha Cong (born in 1975), residing in Nhot Kho village, Bac Ly commune, Ky Son district.

While collecting documents and evidence, on April 16, 2019, Ky Son District Police caught two subjects, Cut Van Hop (born in 1996), residing in Huoi Cang 1 village and Cut Van Hoa (born in 1993), residing in Huoi Cang 2, Bac Ly commune, for the act of illegal possession of drugs and seized 0.25 grams of heroin. During the investigation, the two subjects confessed to buying the above drugs from Denh Cha Cong for personal use.

Based on the collected documents and evidence, along with the above information, to concentrate forces and synchronously use professional measures to quickly eradicate this complex drug trafficking ring, Ky Son District Police established a Special Project.

With his cunning and shrewd nature, Denh Cha Cong was extremely vigilant. When he personally went to Laos to buy drugs and then brought them back to his camp, if the customers who came to buy drugs were strangers, they had to go through rounds of "censorship" using secret codes located about 3 - 4 km from Cong's camp.

Only when they feel safe and trustworthy will Cong's "pilot" disciples sell drugs. Notably, Cong's camp is often isolated and about 300m - 600m away from the camp of his juniors. The only way to reach Cong and his gang's camp is a single road with difficult terrain. Therefore, it is very difficult for strangers to approach this "boss".

On June 6, the Task Force received information that Denh Cha Cong was preparing a large batch of “goods” to deliver to a familiar partner. Because the subject was born and raised in the mountains, he was very familiar with the roads and paths, easily hiding or running away, making it very difficult to be detected.

Therefore, the Task Force must calculate carefully and scientifically to ensure absolute safety for the forces participating in solving the case; at the same time, successfully arrest Denh Cha Cong, and eradicate this complex illegal drug ring.

Under the direct direction of the leader of the Special Case Committee (Ky Son District Police), all officers and soldiers of the General Investigation Team were divided into reconnaissance teams, conducting ambushes, interceptions, and raids at locations where Cong could conduct drug transactions.

At around 00:30 on June 7, Denh Cha Cong was discovered trading "goods" with his partners. Taking advantage of their negligence, the reconnaissance teams of the Special Task Force raided, controlled and successfully arrested Denh Cha Cong, confiscating 200 synthetic drug pills, 3 guns including 1 cabin gun, 1 CKC gun, 1 flintlock gun and 21 bullets. Notably, 1 of the guns was loaded.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Ky Son District Police is completing the dossier to handle the subject according to the provisions of law.
