Journey to destroy a motorbike theft ring that was brought to Cambodia for sale
When arrested, Le Cong Linh confessed that he had bought motorbikes on social networks and then transported them to hide at his home, waiting for an opportunity to sell them in Cambodia.
On November 24, the leader of Dong Da District Police (Hanoi) said that from the property theft case that occurred in the area, the unit has investigated and clarified the subjects who specialize in consuming large quantities of stolen vehicles.

According to the leader of Dong Da District Police, expanding the case of theft and consumption of property obtained by others through criminal acts that occurred in Kim Lien Ward (Dong Da District), the unit arrested Nguyen Thanh Son (born in 1994, in Thai Nguyen City, Thai Nguyen Province) and Le Cong Linh (born in 1990, in Quang Binh Province).
Police determined that on the morning of September 29, Bui Manh Hung (born in 2003, from Ha Nam province) stole a motorbike in lane 48 Van Tri, Minh Khai ward, Bac Tu Liem district. Hung sold the motorbike to Nguyen Huu Giap (born in 2004, from Phuc Tho district, Hanoi) and Le Thi Chi (born in 2005, from Thanh Mien district, Hai Duong) for 5.8 million VND. Giap then sold the motorbike to Nguyen Thanh Son for 6.9 million VND.

On the evening of September 30, Son sold this car to Le Cong Linh for 8 million VND.
During the investigation, Nguyen Thanh Son confessed that he also bought a motorbike from Ma Thi Hang (born in 1998, in Tuyen Quang province) for 9 million VND and then sold it to Linh for 12 million VND.
At the investigation agency, Hang confessed that she had stolen this car from Sin AQ (from Ha Giang province) in Yen My district, Hung Yen.
Summoning Le Cong Linh, the subject confessed that after buying the car from Son, Linh sold it to strangers to make a profit.
During a search of Le Cong Linh’s residence, investigators seized 72 motorbikes of various types that Linh had hidden in his house. Initially, Linh stated that he had purchased the motorbikes from social media and then transported them to his home, hiding them in case he had the chance to sell them in Cambodia.
Previously, on November 23, Dong Da District Police (Hanoi) initiated a case and prosecuted Bui Manh Hung (born 2003, in Ha Nam province) for theft of property, Pham Van Thuong (born 1993), Le Van Bac (born 2005), both in Hai Phong city, for receiving property obtained by crime.
