The journey to become People's Artist of 'Mr. Mountain' Xuan Bac
In 2018, Xuan Bac withdrew his application for the People's Artist title at the last minute, surprising many fans.
According to Decision No. 1431/QD-CTN signed by President Vo Van Thuong on November 28, Meritorious Artist Nguyen Xuan Bac is among the individuals awarded the title of People's Artist.
Many audiences, relatives and friends congratulated "Mr. Mountain" Xuan Bac on this special honor.

Xuan Bac's greatest contribution to the country's art is on the drama stage. He is an outstanding person of the Vietnam Drama Theater. In 2016, Xuan Bac was appointed Deputy Director of the Vietnam Drama Theater. In January 2021, Xuan Bac was appointed Director of the Vietnam Drama Theater.
Xuan Bac's mark in the hearts of the audience is not only the role of Nui.Waves at the bottom of the riverbut also has the character Nam Tao in the seriesTao QuanVTV's. Xuan Bac's charming, witty and flexible acting created an image of Nam Tao that was both humorous and profound, yet still very close and rustic.
In addition to activities related to acting and MC, Xuan Bac is also very active in community programs, projects and group activities.
He was awarded the Outstanding Young Face of the Capital in 2009 and the term 2012 - 2017. In November 2010, Xuan Bac was chosen as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for clean water and environmental sanitation.
Since August 1, 2018, Xuan Bac has been a member of the Central Council of the 8th term of the Young Pioneers according to Decision No. 287 - QD/TWĐTN-CTTN of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
In December 2019, Xuan Bac was elected Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union, term VIII.
With outstanding contributions to art and society, Xuan Bac was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in January 2016.
In 2018, the male artist submitted an application for the title of People's Artist. However, at the last minute, the male artist decided to withdraw the application.
In response to the incident, Xuan Bac posted a clip thanking those who cared about him and apologizing for wasting everyone's time. Xuan Bac did not clarify the reason why he withdrew his application for the title of People's Artist, but instead solicited the opinions of some readers who affirmed that he deserved everyone's recognition.
The male artist said: "I just withdraw, it's that simple. But there is one thing that is not simple, it depends on the audience to continue supporting us - the artists with the artistic products that we put out.
Personally, I will definitely devote all my heart and effort to continue creating works of art, to contribute to life with laughter and concerns for a better life."
So, after 5 years since proactively withdrawing his application for the title of People's Artist, Xuan Bac has officially received this noble title.
