Hari Won becomes an ambassador promoting connections between children and the community.
Singer and actress Hari Won has officially been chosen by the charity Good Neighbors International (GNI) as its first ambassador in Vietnam.

| In her role as Ambassador, during her first two-year term, Hari Won will act as a bridge to help more people learn about GNI's activities and the situation regarding the implementation of children's rights in Vietnam. |
GNI is a leading and reputable charity in South Korea, established in 1991, and now has branches in 37 countries worldwide. In Vietnam, since 2005, GNI has been implementing numerous projects to support children and communities, especially disadvantaged children and people. Currently, GNI is carrying out many projects such as: Child protection, Children's rights, Education, Clean water and sanitation, Livelihood development… in Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang, and Thanh Hoa provinces. In addition, GNI also implements emergency relief projects in the central and southern provinces of Vietnam.
Speaking about Hari Won's appointment as Ambassador, Mr. An Yong Sic - Head of GNI's representative office in Vietnam - said: “I believe that with the philanthropic spirit and efforts in promoting children's rights by actress/singer Hari Won, knowledge about children's rights will be widely disseminated throughout Vietnam. Through this, children's rights will be better implemented, Vietnamese children will live in a safer and better environment, and poor children will have more opportunities to receive help from the community.”

Sharing her joy, the singer of Vietnamese and Korean descent said emotionally: “Hari is very happy and proud to be chosen by GNI as its Ambassador in Vietnam. With the responsibility of being an Ambassador for a large and leading charity like GNI, Hari pledges to do her best to serve the organization and fulfill her responsibilities, contributing to creating a better world and more opportunities for development for children in her homeland of Vietnam.”
Besides her role as an ambassador, the singer also supports the organization annually with her own money.
