Harry Kane scored a hat-trick, Tottenham surpassed Arsenal
The 3-0 win over Burnley helped Mauricio Pochettino's team climb to fifth place after round 19 of the Premier League.
Goal: Kane 7' 69' 79'.
Tottenham were behind Arsenal and Burnley before this match and were under pressure due to their recent poor run of form. Their second consecutive win at Turf Moor helped the Spurs salvage some of their dignity after losing 4-1 to Man City in the previous round.

Kane put Tottenham ahead early on with a successful penalty after Dele Alli was brought down in the box. This goal helped them control the match more easily. Before Kane scored the second time, Tottenham created many chances but could not take advantage.
Kane's rebound shot went just wide of the goal and Moussa Sissoko's shot was blocked by goalkeeper Nick Pope. Burnley played well in the last 20 minutes of the first half and the beginning of the second half, creating potentially dangerous attacks.
However, it was Tottenham who had the clearest chances. Son Heung-min fired wide from seven yards, unmarked, after meeting Serge Aurier's pass. Kane then missed a dangerous counter-attack from his side, his pass to Christian Eriksen being a little too strong when Burnley had only one defender in front.

But Tottenham finally found a way to double their lead. Winning the ball in midfield, Sissoko quickly passed it to Kane to break the offside trap. In a one-on-one situation, the England international finished low, sending the ball past Pope.
Ten minutes after this goal, Kane ended the home team's hopes with a goal to make it 3-0. Ben Davies stole the ball from a Burnley player and passed it to Alli. The England midfielder released the ball for Kane to dribble past a defender and shoot with his left foot diagonally.
This was Kane's seventh hat-trick of the year, continuing a memorable year for him. In the match against Southampton on December 26, the 24-year-old striker only needs one goal to surpass Alan Shearer's record for most goals scored in a Premier League season 22 years ago. Kane has 36 goals.
After this win, Tottenham has 34 points, equal to Arsenal but is higher due to better goal difference.
