With her emotional singing style, the 9X generation singer from Nghe An was praised by singer Dang Thuat.

The singing voice of 21-year-old Le Van Duy (stage name Hoang Duy), originally from Nghi Loc district (Nghe An province), was recently praised by singer Dang Thuat on Facebook.

"Only Memories Remain," a song by composer Dau Hoai Thanh performed by Hoang Duy, is receiving enthusiastic support from the online community. In just a few days, it has garnered thousands of listens and numerous comments praising his smooth yet powerful voice. "It's the best," "so emotional," "heartfelt," "absolutely amazing"... are some of the comments netizens have given to Hoang Duy.

Hoang Duy grew up in a family with no one involved in the arts, but his passion for music was nurtured from his days as a village schoolboy. By the 10th grade, Duy had naturally become the star performer at his high school. After much deliberation with his family, his parents finally agreed to let him apply to the Military University of Culture and Arts. Currently, Duy is a third-year student at this university.

When the song "Only Memories Remain" was updated on Duy's personal Facebook page, singer Dang Thuat, who is also Duy's vocal teacher, commented, praising his singing: "It's great, maybe we should have a midterm exam next semester, a practical performance exam at our department." Furthermore, in his comment, singer Dang Thuat even "boasted" to his friends that Hoang Duy was his student.

Hoang Duy shared: "I'm very happy to receive praise from teacher Dang Thuat. I will use that as motivation for myself on the musical path I am trying to pursue."
