Notably, Facundo Mura reportedly rejected an offer from one of South America's biggest clubs, River Plate, in favor of the opportunity to play alongside Messi in the United States. The defender will join Inter Miami on a free transfer after his contract with Racing Club expires.

According to sources, Mura will sign a long-term contract valid until June 2029. His arrival is expected to strengthen the defense, which was considered one of Inter Miami's weaknesses last season.
Mura began his career at Estudiantes de La Plata, then had a brief stint with Colon before joining Racing Club. There, he helped the team win the Copa Sudamericana in 2024.
