Recently, photographer Tuan Khoi posted a video recording the scene of him making coffee with his wife's milk and inviting his friends to enjoy it. The video, captioned "Harley's mother's milk coffee reaction", quickly caused mixed reactions on social networks.
Many opinions said that this action was tactless and exceeded the limits of a normal joke, leading to a wave of negative comments aimed at Tuan Khoi.
Apologies and admissions of mistakes
In her latest post, H'Hen Nie expressed her regret: "Hen is truly sorry that the recent images and stories of Hen and her husband have made everyone unhappy." She also apologized to the friends in the video.
Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 admitted that she and her husband, as first-time parents, had many shortcomings and had not thought things through thoroughly. She said she had read and pondered the comments from the public.
Notably, H'Hen Niê also admitted her mistake for her previous post to protect her husband. "Hen also apologized for her previous post when she was not thoughtful enough, it simply came from the thoughts of a wife wanting to protect her husband... After thinking more carefully, Hen apologized because those were inappropriate statements and Hen does not encourage wrong things," she shared.
After the post, many fans left comments of encouragement and hoped she would maintain her image.
Previous reaction of photographer Tuan Khoi
In response to his wife’s apology, photographer Tuan Khoi took the initiative to remove the controversial video and posted an apology. He explained that this was just a playful moment with close friends and did not anticipate the community’s reaction.
"I apologize for my lack of consideration, and thank everyone for their frank and kind comments. I will learn from my experience to be more careful," Tuan Khoi wrote.
Small family and new role
H'Hen Nie and Tuan Khoi got married in early 2025 after more than 7 years together. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Nie Nguyen Moc Dan (nicknamed Harley), in September 2025. Being a first-time parent was mentioned by H'Hen Nie as part of the reason for her recent shortcomings.
