Recently, photographer Tuan Khoi posted a video of himself making coffee using his wife's milk and inviting friends to try it. The video, captioned "Reaction to Harley's mom's milk coffee," quickly sparked mixed reactions on social media.
Many people felt that this action was tasteless and went beyond the boundaries of a normal joke, leading to a wave of negative comments directed at Tuan Khoi.
An apology and an admission of wrongdoing.
In her latest post, H'Hen Niê expressed her regret: "Hen is truly sorry that the recent images and stories of Hen and her husband have made everyone unhappy." She also apologized to the friends who were present in the video.
Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 admitted that she and her husband, as first-time parents, still have many shortcomings and haven't thought things through thoroughly. She said she has read and reflected on the feedback from the public.
In particular, H'Hen Niê also apologized for her previous post aimed at defending her husband. "Hen also apologizes for the previous post when she hadn't thought it through properly; it simply stemmed from the thoughts of a wife wanting to protect her husband... After thinking it through more carefully, Hen apologizes for those inappropriate statements and she does not condone what is wrong," she shared.

Following his wife's apology, photographer Tuan Khoi proactively removed the controversial video and posted an apology. He explained that it was just a playful moment with close friends and that he did not anticipate the public's reaction.

H'Hen Niê and Tuấn Khôi will get married in early 2025 after more than 7 years together. The couple recently welcomed their first daughter, Niê Nguyễn Mộc Đan (affectionately known as Harley), in September 2025. H'Hen Niê mentioned that becoming a parent for the first time is partly to explain any shortcomings she may have experienced recently.
