Learning from and following Uncle Ho's example, and proud to be the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, over the years, the entire political system and people of the province have always strived to rise up, seize opportunities for development, and build the province into a prosperous province in the North as well as the whole country.
Setting several new milestones.
Entering the 2020-2025 term, with a strong determination to fulfill President Ho Chi Minh's sacred legacy of "deep affection and loyalty" to his homeland, which is to "make Nghe An quickly become one of the most prosperous provinces in the North," the Provincial Party Committee has included in the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress the goal of "striving to make Nghe An a prosperous province in the North by 2025, and a prosperous province nationwide by 2030," demonstrating an extremely strong and resolute determination.

Since the beginning of this term, despite numerous difficulties and challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the impact of the global situation, Nghe An province has made remarkable progress. The province's economy has set new milestones in several indicators: In 2022, the growth rate reached 9.08%; for the first time, state budget revenue exceeded 20,000 billion VND (reaching 21,805 billion VND), ranking 22nd nationwide. In the first quarter of 2023, the growth rate reached 7.75%, ranking 14th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide.
Foreign direct investment (FDI) attracted in 2022 reached approximately $1 billion.ranked in the top 10 nationwide.In the first quarter of 2023, Nghe An continued to maintain its position in the top 10 nationwide, reflecting the increasing confidence and willingness of investors, especially international investors, to do business in Nghe An. The size of Nghe An's economy ranked among the top 10 nationwide, reaching 175,740 billion VND.

However, Nghe An province not only prioritizes economic growth but also emphasizes social progress in every policy and every step; social welfare is always given priority, and movements of mutual support and compassion continue to be widely promoted.
The core reason for achieving these results is clearly the internal unity and cohesion within the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Party Executive Committee, spreading down to the grassroots level. This unity and cohesion is manifested in the province's policy decisions and political determination to focus on resolving bottlenecks and critical issues serving socio-economic development; and in creating positive changes in leadership and guidance, with a focused, proactive, and decisive approach to task implementation.

The exemplary spirit of cadres and Party members, especially the heads of Party committees, agencies, and units, is gradually becoming more evident; the spirit of daring to think, daring to act, and daring to take responsibility is increasingly valued; the attitude of serving the people and being dedicated to work is emphasized, creating positive changes in awareness and actions, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility; and cultivating the qualities, ethics, and lifestyle of cadres, Party members, civil servants, and workers.
A harmonious and peaceful society, a spirit of solidarity among the people, and unity between people of different faiths, and between mountainous and lowland regions, has been promoted and widely disseminated. Therefore, many of the province's policies have received strong support, such as the implementation of the Program.Support for building houses for the poor.To date, efforts have been made to provide housing for people in difficult circumstances, totaling over 11,000 units, equivalent to over 562 billion VND.

Earlier this year, while working with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to review Nghe An's achievements, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang - Member of the Political Bureau, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council - assessed: The results are noteworthy, not only have the targets been basically met, but the quality of the targets has many bright spots and highlights, creating a good foundation.

Throughout his vibrant, rich, and arduous revolutionary life, filled with sacrifices and hardships, wherever he was, whatever he did, and under whatever circumstances, his homeland of Nghe An always held a deep and heartfelt concern in his heart. On the occasion of the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023), the province once again deepens the special affection he had for his homeland.
This serves as a great motivation for Nghe An to become even more determined to seize opportunities and strive for prosperity and beauty; worthy of being a province with a tradition of "leading the way" in the revolutionary movement, the homeland of the Nghe Tinh Soviet; possessing abundant resources and a large workforce; a rich cultural tradition; studious, academically gifted, diligent, and hardworking; at the same time, this is also an important occasion for each leader, official, and civil servant to reflect, further engrave in their hearts and minds the responsibilities of a cadre and Party member; to be more conscious in studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh... so that they may strive and be more responsible in their work in accordance with their position.

In particular, the current context opens up new and more favorable turning points on the path to achieving higher milestones for Nghe An. The Politburo is preparing to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW, dated July 30, 2013, on the direction and tasks for the development of Nghe An province until 2020; thereby, determining the viewpoints, orientations, goals, targets, tasks, and solutions for the province's development from now until 2030, with a vision to 2045. The provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, expected to be approved by the Prime Minister in May 2023, will create an important legal framework for comprehensively guiding and managing socio-economic development activities and territorial development in the province;…
Proud to be the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, there is nothing better than transforming the aspiration to build our homeland into more concrete actions in every citizen, every official, every Party member, and every collective; raising awareness, responsibility, and the spirit of cooperation for common goals and the common good; so that Nghe An can leverage its inherent strengths and established foundations, while maximizing the opportunities and prospects that arise on the path of development.
