From a social media phenomenon, Ngo Lan Huong made an effort to move to the South to pursue a professional singing career after emerging from the "The Voice Vietnam 2017" program.

After the competition...The Voice Vietnam 2017Tóc Tiên's student began pursuing an artistic career, releasing several music projects such asDo you want to take me home? Love, don't be afraid of pain...
Sharing about her career, the singer from Thanh Hoa admitted that initially, singing was just a hobby for her, and she never thought about choosing it as her career path. However, when she covered songs and uploaded them to YouTube for fun, Ngo Lan Huong was fortunate to be well-received by the audience. Some songs even reached millions of views, helping her become more confident in her singing voice.

After a period of being considered a "cover song phenomenon," the female singer participated in a music competition and left a strong impression on the audience. This helped Lan Huong realize that she also had the ability to pursue a professional career if she put in the effort.
Since transitioning to a professional career, Ngo Lan Huong has noticed many changes, from how audiences perceive her to how they invest in their music. “When I was a YouTuber, people just saw me as a cute girl who could sing, and they listened to me for fun. But when I decided to pursue a professional artistic career, people's scrutiny multiplied tenfold.”
Ngo Lan Huong shared that she has started receiving honest praise and criticism from listeners. Speaking about her attitude towards receiving this, the 24-year-old singer stated: "I am grateful for that. If the audience is still willing to give me feedback, willing to listen to my singing style to help me improve, then they still care."

Having gone through a period of frequent criticism from netizens, Ngo Lan Huong has gradually learned how to deal with negativity. She said: “Negative comments are a necessary part of an artist's artistic journey; it would be dangerous if they weren't there. When an artist receives conflicting opinions, some people love them very much, some people hate them very much, it means that artist is very successful. An artist who only receives love and admiration probably wouldn't exist, or if they did, they wouldn't be famous.”
While Ngô Lan Hương could work independently as a YouTuber, she realized she needed a team and connections when she embarked on a professional singing career. The singer, born in 1998, recounted that when she first moved to the South to pursue her career, she spent the first month meeting with artists to build her network.
“There were some artists I had only interacted with briefly before, but I asked to meet them so they would know I had moved to the South and was now pursuing a professional artistic career. Perhaps it was because I was truly sincere that I was lucky to have my first friends like Truong Thao Nhi and Trung Quan. They were very kind and supportive,” Ngo Lan Huong confided.
