Vietnam Tourism Association voted "the most attractive destinations of 2015"

There will be 15 resorts, entertainment areas, craft villages, museums, and beaches honored as the most attractive destinations of 2015 in mid-April.

This is the first time this agency has initiated this activity. Mr. Vu The Binh, Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said that this activity aims to honor outstanding destinations, most loved by tourists and travel companies in 2015. These are establishments that have made positive contributions to the overall success of the tourism industry in 2015.

According to the rules, the nominated categories are Most Attractive Resort; Most Attractive Entertainment Area; Most Favorite Craft Village; Most Favorite Museum; Most Favorite Beach. The award is based on the results of public voting via tripi.vn, the votes of specialized tourism reporters and on the basis of the scores of a Tourism Expert Council established by the Association.

Based on the proposals of the local Tourism Associations, the expert council will select 15 most typical destinations of each type to be included in the voting list. The public will vote on tripi.vn until April 11, 2016. The selection criteria are the assessment of landscape, environment, quality, infrastructure, security - safety, professionalism, diversity and quality of services. Based on the voting results of reporters and the public and the selection of the expert council, the Vietnam Tourism Association will award and honor each type of 03 Destinations with the highest voting scores.

The award ceremony of “Vietnam’s most attractive destinations in 2015” will be held at the opening ceremony of VITM 2016 in Hanoi on April 13, 2016.

“This is the first time the Vietnam Tourism Association has organized this activity. In the coming time, we will aim to implement it annually and expand it to other destinations and types of services,” Mr. Binh shared.
