The Vietnam Tourism Association has selected "the most attractive destinations of 2015".

Fifteen resorts, amusement parks, craft villages, museums, and beaches will be honored as the most attractive destinations of 2015 in mid-April.

This is the first time this organization has initiated this activity. Mr. Vu The Binh, Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said that this activity aims to honor outstanding destinations that were most favored by tourists and travel companies in 2015. These are establishments that have made positive contributions to the overall success of the tourism industry in 2015.

According to the regulations, the nominated categories are: Most Attractive Resort; Most Attractive Entertainment Area; Most Popular Traditional Craft Village; Most Popular Museum; and Most Popular Beach. The awards are based on public voting via tripi.vn, votes from tourism journalists, and scores from a professional tourism panel established by the Association.

Based on proposals from local tourism associations, the expert council will select 15 of the most outstanding destinations in each category to be included in the voting list. The public will vote on tripi.vn until April 11, 2016. Selection criteria include assessment of landscape, environment, quality, infrastructure, security and safety, professionalism, diversity, and quality of services. Based on the voting results from journalists and the public, along with the selection of the expert council, the Vietnam Tourism Association will award prizes and honor the top 3 destinations with the highest number of votes in each category.

The awards ceremony for "Vietnam's Most Attractive Destinations 2015" will be held at the opening ceremony of VITM 2016 in Hanoi on April 13, 2016.

“This is the first time the Vietnam Tourism Association has organized this event. In the future, we aim to make it an annual event and expand it to other types of destinations and services,” Mr. Binh shared.
