The vice-president of a college is under investigation for falsifying diplomas.

Suspecting the deputy principal of Hai Phong Industrial Vocational College of forging diplomas and certificates, the Nam Dinh Provincial Police have initiated legal proceedings.

On November 26th, the Nam Dinh Provincial Police confirmed that Mr. Mai Xuan Minh, Deputy Principal of Hai Phong Industrial Vocational College, has been indicted and arrested for investigation into alleged forgery in his work. Along with Mr. Minh, several teachers were also summoned.

From Head of Training Department, Mr. Minh was appointed Vice Principal in September 2016. In his new position, he was in charge of organizing joint training programs for pedagogical certification in Nam Dinh province. However, he is accused of abusing his position and authority to forge diplomas and certificates.

The case is being handled by the Security Investigation Agency of the Nam Dinh Provincial Police.
