"We will continue campaigning on September 15," AFP quoted Nick Merrill, a spokesperson for Hillary Clinton's campaign, as saying late on September 13.
According to Merrill, Clinton spent her time at home "reading briefings, making phone calls," and watching President Barack Obama speak in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Democratic presidential candidate just had her worst week in the 15-month race for the White House. She was forced to leave a 9/11 memorial event in New York and limped into her Secret Service vehicle. Her personal physician said Clinton was dehydrated and had a high fever.
Clinton, 68, subsequently suspended her campaign activities on September 9th, citing pneumonia, ahead of the memorial event, raising concerns about her health.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on September 12 that health is a key issue in his campaign and that he would soon release details about his health.
"I hope she gets well soon and gets to continue campaigning. We'll see her again in the debates," Trump said in a phone interview with Fox News.
