The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has suspended coach Dinh Van Dung from coaching duties for his behavior towards the referee.

The former assistant coach of the Vietnam U20 team at the 2017 World Cup received a six-match suspension and a 7.5 million VND fine following an incident during the 2025/26 U19 National Championship qualifiers.
