Along with that, in any period, Song Lam Nghe An always produces and possesses outstanding players, contributing greatly to the success of provincial and national football. And especially, in the squad of Song Lam Nghe An, there is always a combination of pillars who have gone through a lot of battle experience and newly added juniors. Song Lam Nghe An had a very disappointing start to the season. The team has not won any matches after 9 rounds and is currently second to last in the rankings. We can easily see the weakness in the quality of Song Lam Nghe An's squad, when many domestic players are weak in ability, lack experience and battle spirit. In the current main squad of Song Lam Nghe An, there are only players under 21 years old. They need seniors with enough ability and experience to guide them and create spiritual support. In addition, foreign players have not received adequate investment. These are factors leading to the serious decline of Song Lam Nghe An.

Because in the general difficult situation of the economy, the sponsor still accompanies the team, which is very commendable. However, I still hope that in this rather urgent time, they need to quickly take specific actions to save the team, before it is too late. In my opinion, the main sponsor of Song Lam Nghe An needs to seek support from Nghe An province and other dedicated sponsors to ensure financial resources to invest in the team's strength in the second leg of the season.

Coach Dinh Van Dung was born in 1960 in Thanh Hoa province. In 1985, Mr. Dung joined Song Lam Nghe An. After retiring in 1996, he moved to coaching at the Nghe An youth football training center.
‎With nearly 30 years as head coach for Song Lam Nghe An youth teams, Mr. Dung has brought home many Gold Medals for Nghe An football. These include 4 championships at the National U18 and U19 Tournaments, 2 Gold Medals at the National U21 Tournament and many other championships with Song Lam Nghe An youth teams. He is considered a "golden" coach for Nghe An youth football.
In the 2023/24 season, coach Dinh Van Dung worked as assistant head coach at Team 1 Song Lam Nghe An.
