The Barcelona manager said, half-jokingly, half-seriously: "I left some ligaments on the pitch, but it was worth it. I knelt down on the pitch. I want to thank the fans who kept their faith after the 0-4 defeat in the first leg. This victory makes everyone happy and I couldn't miss a moment like this."

Among the fans celebrating with Barca was former manager Pep Guardiola. The current Manchester City manager said: "I want to congratulate Barca. They achieved a truly impressive result tonight."

After their victory against PSG, Barca achieved the greatest comeback in the history of European football. Prior to this, no team had ever advanced after being four goals down in the first leg of the Champions League.
