Coach Giustozzi: Vietnamese Futsal plays with 100% heart.
The Vietnamese futsal team has arrived in Thailand for the 33rd SEA Games after a smooth journey. After five weeks of physical and tactical training in Ho Chi Minh City, coach Diego Giustozzi affirmed that the entire team will compete with 100% enthusiasm, aiming for a different colored medal.
At Suvarnabhumi International Airport, head coach Diego Giustozzi affirmed: "The Vietnamese futsal team will play with 100% passion, 100% heart!" After a smooth journey, the team arrived in Thailand, ready to embark on their SEA Games 33 campaign with the goal of winning a different colored medal.

More than just an emotional message, the Argentinian coach's statement was based on a carefully considered preparation roadmap. According to Giustozzi, the team had two weeks of intensive physical training and three weeks to refine and review tactical strategies in Ho Chi Minh City. "I am very happy and grateful for the support of the Vietnam Football Federation throughout this period... I am very confident that this team can have a successful tournament in Thailand," he emphasized.
5 weeks of focused effort towards a single goal.
The highlight of the preparation phase is the 2+3 structure: two weeks of physical training to increase endurance, followed by three weeks dedicated to perfecting tactical strategies. This allocation helps the team adapt to the short-duration competition schedule of the SEA Games, while also providing sufficient time to fine-tune details in their gameplay organization.

Alongside professional performance, the mental aspect is given the right emphasis. When asked about the pressure at the SEA Games, Giustozzi frankly stated: pressure is inevitable at the national team level, but it is precisely this pressure that motivates the team to improve. "As Vice President Tran Anh Tu once said, we are serving the Fatherland, so pressure is inevitable. I understand that the SEA Games have great significance for the Vietnamese people... the team is ready to win, ready to confront directly and is not afraid of any opponent in the region," he shared.
Meticulous logistics, a spirit of readiness.
In Thailand, coach Diego Giustozzi and his team are staying in the same hotel as the Vietnamese women's futsal team in Nonthaburi. Logistical arrangements, especially meal plans, have been prepared by the Vietnam Football Federation based on the practical experience of teams at the SEA Games 33, aiming to ensure the best possible conditions for the entire team.

Furthermore, the presence of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) leaders at the airport – specifically Vice President Tran Anh Tu – sent a message of support and confidence in the team's journey to victory. The team also announced the official list of 14 players for the SEA Games 33, concluding the selection phase and moving into a state of readiness for competition.
A message from the Suvarnabhumi runway.
From the moment they set foot on Suvarnabhumi Stadium, the team sent out two clear messages. First, systematic preparation: five weeks of intensive training with a specific schedule and clear training content. Second, a competitive attitude: "100% passion, 100% heart," as the head coach reiterated. This commitment was both emotionally charged and grounded in their training process.
The 33rd SEA Games served as a benchmark for the new state of Vietnamese futsal. With a solid foundation of preparation and logistical support, coach Diego Giustozzi and his team entered the tournament with a spirit of not shying away from pressure, aiming to improve their performance and make a new mark on the regional stage.
