Coach Huy Hoang: 'SLNA was lucky against Binh Duong'

During the post-match press conference betweenSLNAand B. Binh Duong in round 1V.LeagueIn 2022, coach Huy Hoang expressed his joy at his team's victory: "I am happy that SLNA won the opening match of the V.League. Before going onto the field, I always encouraged the players to play with the highest spirit, to show their best effort. In the match, my players played with great effort, and I commend the whole team."

Facing Binh Duong at Go Dau Stadium, coach Huy Hoang used a 3-5-2 formation. SLNA's defense played well, neutralizing national team player Tien Linh. The attack also played quite smoothly and created many dangerous opportunities against the opponent's goal.

When asked about the formation, tactics, and playing style, the head coach of the Nghe An team expressed: "The current SLNA squad includes many national team and U23 Vietnam players. Over the past few months, the club's coaching staff has developed tactical formations and playing styles that I believe are quite suitable for the players we have. In the upcoming matches, we need to learn from experience and make adjustments to further improve the team."

Huy Hoang said: "We were lucky in this match, and I hope the whole team will be confident enough to win the next matches."

Meanwhile, coach Dang Tran Chinh offered words of comfort to his Binh Duong players: "In this match, the players tried their best. Tien Linh, in particular, had a slight fever before the match, but he tried very hard. If there hadn't been any individual mistakes, I believe the team would have achieved a draw in this match."
