Coach Nguyen Thanh Cong leads HL Ha Tinh ahead of the match against SLNA.
(Baonghean.vn) – Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club has decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong as head coach. His debut match will be an away game against Song Lam Nghe An in Round 10 of the V.League 2021.
After a period of negotiations, both sides have agreed on the terms. Coach Nguyen Thanh Cong will officially begin his work as the "head coach" of HL Ha Tinh on April 15th. Prior to this, HL Ha Tinh Club parted ways.Coach Pham Minh Ducafter a series of poor results.
The arrival of coach Nguyen Thanh Cong at HL Ha Tinh further intensified the "Nghe Tinh Derby" between SLNA and HL Ha Tinh on April 17th, as coach Thanh Cong is from Nghe An and grew up under the tutelage of SLNA.

Coach Nguyen Thanh Cong is the son of veteran coach Nguyen Thanh Vinh. This coach is considered the "treasure hunter" of the V.League. In 2018, as an assistant coach, he replaced coach Phan Van Tai Em at Saigon FC. The team immediately flourished under his leadership, finishing in 5th place.
At the end of the 2019 season, Mr. Cong parted ways with the team due to family reasons. When Thanh Hoa faced a crisis, Coach Nguyen Thanh Cong stepped in to replace Fabio Lopez from round 4 of the V.League 2020. Since then, Thanh Hoa has played well and overcome its crisis period.
Mid-October 2020,Coach Nguyen Thanh CongHe arrived at Quang Nam FC with the mission of rescuing them from relegation but failed. In the 2021 First Division season, the Quang Nam team unexpectedly parted ways with this coach after 4 rounds and appointed coach Duong Hong Son.
This marks the fourth V.League team where Coach Nguyen Thanh Cong has worked as head coach. Currently, HL Ha Tinh has only 6 points after 1 win, 3 draws, and 5 losses. Ha Tinh fans are hoping for a successful partnership between Coach Thanh Cong and his favorite player, Tran Phi Son, in the upcoming season.
