Coach Park Hang-seo spoke about his decision: "Thanh Binh's return to U22 Vietnam is not the player's fault. The U22 Vietnam team must prepare for the upcoming tournament, which is also quite an important tournament. The Vietnam team has enough players when they go to Oman, and Thanh Binh also needs to be mentally freed."

Regarding the preparation for the match against Oman, Coach Park Hang-seo complained about the poor quality of the training ground and the fact that it was not covered up easily. In addition, the players had to travel a long distance, which also led to fatigue.

Meanwhile, captain Que Ngoc Hai said: "What we aim for is to improve what we have not done in previous matches.
