Goalkeeper Nguyen Manh is playing in his 9th season in V.League with a total of 145 matches. In the national team, Nguyen Manh has played 17 matches and was the first choice under coach Toshiya Miura, coach Nguyen Huu Thang before from 2014-2016.

In case Muangthong United Club agrees to "release" Dang Van Lam to the national team, from now until the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers return and the 2020 AFF Cup begins, the Thai League will not compete. This will make Van Lam even more unable to compete, losing his position to the Thai goalkeeper.
