Support 40 houses for Ky Son households after flash flood

Morning of October 19,Ky Son districtcontinue to receive the generosity of benefactors to support the locality after the historic flash flood. In particular, Vinh Thuan Construction Investment Joint Stock Company donated 22 houses to households that lost their homes due to the recent flash flood, with a total amount of 1,120 billion VND. In addition, the working group also presented a bookcase and gifts worth 37 million VND to Ta Ca Primary School.

Regarding the support method, the amount of 1.12 billion VND will be established by the company in 22 savings books at the Social Policy Bank of Ky Son district.

After that, when families withdraw money to build houses, there will be supervision from local authorities. The district Social Policy Bank will ensure that the money is used to support households to build solid houses to live in after their houses were swept away by floods.

On behalf of the leaders of Ky Son district, Comrade Vi Hoe - Secretary of Ky Son District Party Committee respectfully thanked the units and donors for their meaningful and practical gifts to help the people of Ky Son district overcome difficulties caused by natural disasters and floods. At the same time, he committed that the gifts would be delivered directly to the households in an objective and transparent manner.

According to statistics from the Ky Son District Fatherland Front Committee, by October 19, benefactors and units had joined hands to support the construction of 40 houses for households that were completely damaged after the recent flash flood, each house worth from 50 to 60 million VND.

Thus, up to this point, Ky Son district has received nearly 34 billion VND in support money from organizations, units, and benefactors inside and outside the province, including cash and goods converted into money.
