(Baonghean.vn) - By 12 noon today (October 19), organizations and units had joined hands to support 40 houses for households in Ky Son whose homes were completely swept away in the recent flash flood.

On the morning of October 19th,Ky Son districtThe delegation continued to receive generous donations from benefactors to support the local area after the historic flash flood. Among them, Vinh Thuan Construction Investment Joint Stock Company donated 22 houses to households that lost their homes due to the recent flash flood, totaling 1.12 billion VND. In addition, the delegation also donated bookshelves and gifts worth 37 million VND to Ta Ca Primary School.

Regarding the method of support, the company will open 22 savings accounts for the 1.12 billion VND at the Social Policy Bank of Ky Son district.

Subsequently, when families withdraw money to build houses, under the supervision of the local authorities, the District Social Policy Bank will ensure that the funds are used to support households in building sturdy houses to live in after their homes were swept away by floods.

On behalf of the Ky Son district leadership, Comrade Vi Hoe - Secretary of the Ky Son District Party Committee - respectfully thanked the organizations and benefactors for their meaningful and practical gifts to help the people of Ky Son district overcome difficulties caused by natural disasters, storms, and floods. He also pledged that the gifts would be delivered directly to the households in an objective and transparent manner.

According to statistics from the Fatherland Front Committee of Ky Son district, as of October 19th, philanthropists and organizations have joined hands to support the construction of 40 houses for households completely destroyed by the recent flash floods, with each house valued at 50-60 million VND.
