On November 23, the Ministry of Education and Training announced that it is seeking feedback on a draft decision to issue several policies supporting boarding students, ethnic minority boarding schools, and high school students in particularly disadvantaged communes and villages.

Specifically, regarding financial support, the Ministry proposes that each student receive monthly support equivalent to 40% of the basic salary, for no more than 9 months per school year per student; regarding accommodation: for students who have to arrange their own accommodation, each student will receive monthly support equivalent to 10% of the basic salary, for no more than 9 months per school year per student; regarding rice: each student will receive 15kg of rice per month, for no more than 9 months per school year per student.
