Miss International Transgender 2024: Peru crowned, Tuong San takes second runner-up.
On the evening of August 24th, Catalina Marsano from Peru triumphed over 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss International Transgender 2024. The first and second runners-up were representatives from Thailand and Vietnam, respectively.

The final night included swimsuit and evening gown presentations, as well as a Q&A session. Tuong San wore a design inspired by cherry blossom petals, featuring a dominant pink tone, by designer Do Long. The outfit used lightweight silk fabric, combined with a high slit to accentuate her long, slender legs.

The top 6 finalists proceeded to the Q&A round, answering questions about education, human rights, and equality for transgender people. The contestants confidently presented their viewpoints fluently, answering coherently with specific evidence, demonstrating profound critical thinking.
The Vietnamese representative received the following question:What do you think about allowing transgender athletes to compete alongside female athletes? Is that fair?
Faced with a difficult question, Tuong San replied: "I believe that transgender people cannot decide their gender, but they always live true to themselves, and we should respect their decision."
At the end of the competition, the top 3 finalists were Thailand, Peru, and Vietnam. These three beauties then proceeded to the final question-and-answer round to determine the winner of the crown.
