Miss Luong Thuy Linh studies for a PhD at the age of 24

After graduating with honors with a bachelor's degree in Foreign Economics from the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi with a GPA of 3.63/4.0, Luong Thuy Linh continued her journey of conquering knowledge by pursuing a doctorate. The beauty queen said she had not yet studied for a master's degree. However, the study program at the University of Economics, under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, allows bachelors with honors or higher, in the same major, to study directly for a doctorate. Luong Thuy Linh applied with a thesis outline that she herself had written. The total score of the beauty's profile and research outline was 78 points.

With an IELTS 7.5 certificate, Luong Thuy Linh has a great advantage in researching, writing essays and communicating in English. She said that the prescribed course duration will have about 20-30% of online learning, the remaining time will be studied directly at school.

When asked about the reason for choosing to continue studying for a doctorate, Luong Thuy Linh shared: “Since I was a child, Linh has had the intention of pursuing a long-term academic path. Linh believes that knowledge is the tool that opens doors of opportunity, takes us to more beautiful places and makes us become useful citizens to society.”

The beauty added that as a bachelor, pursuing a doctorate would be very challenging. She expressed that she would strive to improve herself and contribute a little to the development of her country.

Besides her passion for research and academics, the Cao Bang beauty also impresses with her sense of responsibility to the community when participating in many volunteer activities, educational programs and community development. In addition, she is currently an assistant lecturer at a university. At the age of 24, Luong Thuy Linh is satisfied with her current life but does not forget to remind herself to move forward.
