Recently, Miss Mai Phuong Thuy held a livestream to interact with her fans. During the live stream, the 8X beauty excitedly listened to Taylor Swift's music, openly admitting that she was feeling tipsy.
She said on the livestream: "I discovered that when you're drunk, you don't need to speak logically, you don't need to talk in a coherent way, and you don't need to do things rationally. It's so nice to be drunk again after so long and to have you all here to share it with. I will cherish this memory in my heart." It is known that Miss Vietnam 2006 stopped the live stream after 3 minutes.
On social media, many opinions were discussed regarding Mai Phuong Thuy's livestream. Some viewers suggested that, as a celebrity, the 8X beauty should be more mindful of her public image. In response to this feedback, Mai Phuong Thuy apologized for the incident.
Previously, Mai Phuong Thuy admitted to facing pressure in maintaining her image. She shared that throughout that journey, she was proud of not giving up in the face of difficulties. She said: "Over a decade as a beauty queen has been over a decade of learning how to survive to become the person I am today."

Regarding the reason for not being as active in showbiz, she frankly stated that she believes artists are very noble, so "to be worthy of that, one must have talent, professionalism, and training.
