When Coach Park met Ngoc Han, he was surprised to find out that she was the same person who had designed the matching ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) for him and his wife. Grateful for what the South Korean strategist had done for Vietnamese football, the beauty queen personally conceived the design, created the sketches, and sent the ao dai to Coach Park and his wife.
Miss Ngoc Han stated that the two ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dresses) were inspired by the motifs at Gyeongbokgung Palace (Seoul). They embody the cultural identity and fusion of Vietnam and Korea. Using high-quality silk, a characteristic material of Vietnam, Ngoc Han skillfully modified the neckline to suit the wife of coach Park Hang-seo. Furthermore, the vibrant colors create a resemblance between the Vietnamese ao dai and the Korean traditional costume, the Hanbok.

Miss Ngoc Han is one of the biggest fans of the Vietnamese national team. During the 2019 Asian Cup, the beauty queen flew directly to the UAE to cheer on the team. On that trip, Ngoc Han wore an ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) that she designed herself. Notably, the dress featured the names of all the Vietnamese players and was the team's signature red color. Ngoc Han expressed her admiration for goalkeeper Van Lam.
"When Coach Park learned that Hân was Miss Vietnam 2010 and also the person who gifted this unique ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) to him and his wife, he was very surprised and sent me his thanks. In real life, Coach Park is a very kind and cheerful person," Ngọc Hân shared.
