According to the management company, the manipulated images mislead viewers and create a false impression of Miss Thanh Thuy and the person depicted. The company hopes viewers will be discerning about posts and images on social media groups that do not originate from the official account of Miss International 2024.
“We appreciate the audience's affection for Thanh Thủy. However, the manipulated images are going too far, and not everyone is discerning enough to realize that they are simply products of AI. We hope that our viewers will report any posts and images containing misleading information from AI related to Miss Thanh Thủy. We urge our viewers to carefully select information on social media platforms and avoid receiving false information.”, the announcement from the Miss International 2024 management company stated.
Previously, Soobin's management company also spoke out about the online community's trend of photoshopping the singer's image, stating that this impersonation was complex and not simply a joke."We absolutely do not support this action because it more or less affects the artist and contributes to spreading false information.".
