According to information from his younger brother, HMiss Thu Thủy(real name Nguyen Thu Thuy), born in 1976, has passed away. She died at 4:30 AM on June 5, 2021.

The memorial service for Miss Thu Thuy will take place at 10:45 AM on June 8, 2021, at the National Funeral Home, 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi. The funeral ceremony and procession will begin at 11:45 AM on June 8, 2021, followed by cremation at Hoan Vu Cemetery.

Nguyen Thu Thuy was born into an intellectual family; both her parents were researchers at the Institute of Linguistics. Her father, Professor Nguyen Van Loi, was formerly the Deputy Director of the Institute, and her mother, Dr. Chu Bich Thu, is a dictionary compiler. She attended the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, class of 21, but later dropped out to study Business Administration in the United States and subsequently opened a beauty salon in Hanoi.
