(Baonghean.vn) - Information from the People's Committee of Cam Muon commune, Que Phong district, indicates that a fire recently occurred in the area, burning down a stilt house belonging to a family.
ServicefireAround 1 PM on April 9th, a fire broke out, completely destroying the stilt house of Ms. Vi Thi Mau (59 years old).
The two-room wooden house, roofed with corrugated iron and foam insulation, along with its contents, quickly caught fire, leaving local residents no time to put it out. Mrs. Mau was not home when the fire broke out.

Mr. Lo Van Tung, Chairman of the Cam Muon Commune People's Committee, said: The cause of the fire was that Mrs. Mau's two young grandchildren were cooking lunch at home, causing the fire to spread. "Mrs. Vi Thi Mau's family is in difficult circumstances in the village. To support her grandchildren, she has to work as a hired laborer dozens of kilometers away from home, so she has to leave the children at home to cook for themselves," Mr. Tung added.
Immediately after the fire, local authorities arrived to help the family with their new home and provide initial support.
