Wushu beauty queen Thùy Linh is about to get married.

The former beauty and talent of Vietnamese wushu has revealed that she will hold her wedding at the beginning of the Lunar New Year of the Monkey.

On the afternoon of February 3rd, Vu Thuy Linh attracted attention on her personal page by posting a selfie in a wedding dress. Less than two hours after being posted, the photo received hundreds of likes and many comments from the wushu beauty queen's friends. Besides compliments for Thuy Linh, many people were curious to know the identity of the groom and the time of the wedding ceremony.

Speaking to Ngoisao.net, Thùy Linh admitted that she will be getting married at the end of January or the beginning of February. Her future husband is also a well-known former athlete who competed in dancesport.

Thùy Linh said that she has been busy with work and wedding preparations lately, so this Tet holiday she won't be going anywhere but will stay home to rest and celebrate Tet with her family and relatives.

Vu Thuy Linh, born in 1990, is the daughter of former renowned wushu athlete Nguyen Phuong Lan. Thanks to her mother's guidance, Thuy Linh quickly became a prominent figure in Vietnamese wushu. At the age of 9, she won a bronze medal in the long fist form at the national championships. Between 2003 and 2008, Thuy Linh consecutively won numerous championships at world and Asian youth competitions. In addition, she won a gold medal at the 2007 SEA Games, a silver medal at the 2007 World Championships, and a gold medal at the 2008 Asian Championships...

Thùy Linh is currently a coach for the Hanoi vovinam team. The beauty queen also tried her hand at acting, participating in the "Perfect Couple" program in 2013.
