Amazingly realistic 110-million-year-old dinosaur fossils.
A dinosaur fossil discovered in Alberta, Canada in 2011 will soon be put on public display. However, what's remarkable about this fossil is that it's so well preserved that everyone thinks it's a replica statue.
According to National Geographic magazine, a dinosaur fossil so well preserved that it looks exactly like a statue has been put on display for the public to admire at a Canadian museum.

The person who found it was Shawn Funk. While working at the Millennium Mine, near Fort McMurray, in northern Alberta, Canada, on March 21, 2011, he dug up something hard. Shawn picked it up to examine it and realized it resembled a fossil. It was later transferred to the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology.

The dinosaur was identified as being approximately 5 meters long and weighing over 1 ton. This armored dinosaur species once lived in herds in western Canada before rising rivers swept them out to sea.
Caleb Brown, a paleontologist at the museum, shared: "We don't just have a skeleton. We have an entire dinosaur that looks completely intact."
The research team also stated that the findings from the fossils could be far more extensive. After being put on display to the public, researchers will continue their studies to uncover new discoveries.
