On the afternoon of July 29th, artist Hoai Linh spoke out about the information circulating on social media claiming his death. The comedian captioned the post with a screenshot of the news article that was shared online.

On his personal Facebook page, Hoài Linh wrote: “Tonight I'll meet the people and audience of An Nhơn, Bình Định. I'm lying here reading the messages everyone sent me. They keep reporting that I'm dead. If you have free time, you should focus on doing business to help your family financially. But if you're posting about my death to get views and make a living, feel free to do so, I won't be upset, I'll consider it charity.”

The information and images shared by Hoài Linh delighted his fans, especially his humorous yet sharp response to those spreading malicious rumors.

Earlier, on the evening of July 28th, many netizens shared information about the death of artist Hoai Linh. The news was reposted with the headline: "Sad news: Artist Hoai Linh breathed his last at 6:10 AM this morning." This information immediately caused public alarm.

This is not the first time artist Hoai Linh has been subjected to false rumors about his health, forcing him to speak out to clarify the situation. He has repeatedly been rumored to be in a "critical" or "coma" condition.

Previously, in March 2016, on his personal page, Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh also posted some pictures of himself to prove that he was healthy and not in a "deep coma" or exhausted due to any illness, as some online news sites had reported.
