The singer confided that when the incident happened, what haunted her most was the look in the eyes of her parents, relatives, and friends.

On the morning of March 6th, Hoang Thuy Linh held a book launch for her autobiography, "Golden Oriole and Phoenix," marking 10 years of professional artistic activity. The singer chose to hold the event at the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film because it was there that she spent her student years studying directing. She graduated top of her class in Television Directing in 2006 and earned a Master's degree in Film and Television Arts in 2013.

Hoang Thuy Linh shared that she wants to get back up wherever she falls. She returned to her old school to meet her teachers and friends, those who had been by her side during her darkest times, so they could see her as she is now. If before, what haunted her most was the pitying gaze of her family and friends, today she sees the same people, but with joyful, congratulatory eyes. That makes her feel happy and proud.

Hoang Thuy Linh also stated that she has overcome all prejudices over the past 10 years for the honor of her family. She wants to tell her parents, relatives, and friends that she is very different today, more mature, living a better life, and appreciating life and what she has. "The past is over, the future is ahead, and I hold my destiny in my own hands. I am no longer a burden to society or my family. I overcame that a long time ago. Now, I want to dedicate my remaining time to contributing to the environment I live in."

In her autobiography, Hoang Thuy Linh recounts her life, especially the shocking scandal at the age of 19 that caused her to lose everything. She endured much contempt from others, but it was her parents and friends who stood by her, helping her to become stronger and start over.

Vân Hugo, who witnessed Hoàng Thùy Linh's difficult period, expressed her admiration for the singer's resilience.

Ms. Hue, the mother of the singer of "Banh Troi Nuoc," sat thoughtfully in the audience, listening to her daughter recount the turbulent years of her life. She herself endured much pressure from society to protect her daughter and overcome all challenges alongside her.

People's Artist Khai Hung, a teacher whom Hoang Thuy Linh greatly admires, confided that during the scandal, every time he went to class and didn't see his student, he knew that his young student "was hurting a lot."

People's Artist Hoang Dung and director Khai Hung wished their student strength and success in her future endeavors.
