The two elderly women receiving assistance to build a house are sisters, both over 65 years old, suffering from intellectual disability, unable to work, and without family. Their only source of income is a monthly allowance of 270,000 VND per person. The frail elderly couple lived in a dilapidated house in a desolate hillside, posing a safety risk during the rainy season. Thanks to the care and support of local authorities and philanthropists, a house is being built for them, with an estimated total cost of nearly 100 million VND.
