Activities to support poor students in localities

From the fund mobilized from staff, workers, employees, and benefactors, the Provincial Labor Federation donated Con Cuong Ethnic Boarding Secondary School a set of computers worth 20 million VND.

Sharing the school's difficulties, the Provincial Labor Federation hopes that the gift will help the school have more conditions to serve teaching work, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning.

* On November 1-2, the Vinh City Veterans Business Association gave gifts to poor students in difficult circumstances from 16 schools in Con Cuong district, each gift was a set of clothes (total value of 92 million VND) and 2 million VND for students in especially difficult circumstances.

This is a meaningful activity showing the heart of businesses of the Vinh City Veteran Business Association towards poor students who overcome difficulties to improve their lives in response to the call of the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

* Department of Education and Training of Nghia Dan districtOrganize the reception and distribution of rice according to Decision 36/2013/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister for students (phase 2, semester 1) of the 2018-2019 school year.

This time, Nghia Dan district has 1,103 students from 13 schools in areas with especially difficult socio-economic conditions receiving rice. The total amount of rice provided is 34,170 kg.

To distribute rice to students in accordance with regulations, the Department of Education and Training of Nghia Dan district has instructed schools to carry out the process of distributing rice to the right subjects according to the approved list, and to distribute the full amount of rice to support students.

* TChau Hoi 1 Primary School (Quy Chau)came to give the support money to Ha Thanh Phong - a 2nd grade student of the school who has very difficult circumstances: His father passed away when he was only 7 months old, his mother left. He currently lives with his grandparents in Hoi 2 village, Chau Hoi commune, his grandparents are poor households;Phong himself has chronic kidney disease.

Faced with that situation, the staff of Chau Hoi 1 Primary School agreed to help Phong with 300,000 VND per month until he finishes 5th grade at school.
