Implementing Uncle Ho's sacred teachings to the Vietnam People's Army, over the past years, officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 4 have always been united, united in strength and heart with the Party Committee, government and people of the 6 North Central provinces to complete all assigned tasks; well performing the work of gratitude and repayment to war invalids, martyrs, families of policy beneficiaries and those who have rendered service to the country. For war invalids and martyrs' relatives, it is necessary to continue to promote the heroic revolutionary tradition and the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", actively cultivate and train, build a steadfast political stance, be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, be ready to receive and complete all tasks well, and contribute with the provincial armed forces to successfully carry out military and defense tasks in the new situation.

This is a meaningful political activity organized by the Provincial Military Command to pay tribute to martyrs, wounded soldiers and families with revolutionary contributions; encourage officers and employees to overcome painful losses and strive to fulfill their tasks well.

On this occasion, the head of the Provincial Military Command presented gifts from the Ministry of National Defense and the Provincial Military Command to war invalids and martyrs' relatives, presented certificates of merit to 5 groups and 7 individuals who had outstanding achievements in the peak emulation campaign to celebrate the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, and presented 71 commemorative medals for the cause of Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs from the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs for their many contributions to the cause of the industry.

* On this occasion,Provincial Border Guard Command120 million VND has been allocated to visit and give gifts to families of war invalids and martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions.

In particular, a house of gratitude worth 70 million VND was built and donated to soldier Nguyen Dinh Luu working at Na Ngoi Border Post, Nghe An Border Guard; Nghe An Border Guard Military Medical Service organized medical examination and treatment activities, providing free medicine to policy families and ethnic minorities in the border area with an amount of nearly 20 million VND; organized meetings and presented gifts to war invalids and children of martyrs working in the provincial Border Guard.

The Provincial Border Guard Youth Union organized 50 members and young people to coordinate with Vinh City Youth Union to offer incense, flowers, and clean the tombstones of heroes and martyrs at Vinh City Martyrs Cemetery.

Along with the above activities, the Border Guard stations also sent working delegations to visit and present gifts to policy families in the stationed areas and to policy families in the twinned districts. On this occasion, the Provincial Border Guard Women's Unionvisited and presented gifts to the family of Ms. Vo Thi Hong Thanh (working at the Border Post of Nam Can International Border Gate) whose father is Heroic Martyr Vo Dai Hue, residing in Block 5, Quan Hanh Town, Nghi Loc District; Ms. Ho Lan Phuong (working at the Border Post of Quynh Thuan) whose father is Martyr Ho Hong Ha, in Quynh Ngoc Commune, Quynh Luu District and Ms. Nguyen Hoai Nam (working at the Political Department) whose father is Martyr Nguyen Hong Tuyen in Nghi Duc Commune, Vinh City and presented gifts to the families of Martyr Nguyen Hong Tuyen and Martyr Ho Dang Kham whose children are currently working at the Political Department.

* To pay tribute to the heroic martyrs,Que Phong districtOrganized many delegations to visit and give gifts to families with meritorious services to the revolution. Of these, 40 gifts were given to outstanding delegates who will be honored on the occasion of the July 27th discussion and 10 gifts were given to typical families with meritorious services to the district, each worth 650,000 VND.

Along with visiting and giving gifts, Que Phong district organized 2 delegations to the South to collect 10 martyrs' remains to the local martyrs' cemetery. Of which, 2 martyrs' graves are located in Thot Not Cemetery, Can Tho province; 1 is located in Binh Duong Cemetery; 1 remains is located in Binh Phuoc Cemetery and 1 remains is located in Kon Tum Cemetery; the remaining 5 graves are located in Ha Tinh and Quang Tri Cemeteries.

It is expected that on July 24, the district will hold a funeral at the local cemetery.

Accordingly, Nghia Dan district is currently managing nearly 27,000 people with meritorious services to the revolution. Of these, more than 1,500 people are receiving monthly allowances, the rest are resistance fighters who have been awarded medals and have received one-time allowances; youth volunteers... During the resistance wars to protect the Fatherland, Nghia Dan has nearly 1,000 martyrs.

Promoting the tradition of drinking water and remembering its source, with the support of the whole society, Nghia Dan district has built 8 new houses, repaired and upgraded 28 gratitude houses to help people with meritorious services and policy families. The total value is over 800 million VND. The district has renovated and upgraded 2 cemeteries, 22 memorials and other works.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district awarded Certificates of Merit to 25 individuals with outstanding achievements in economic development and contributions to local movements; 11 collectives and 12 individuals with many achievements in the work of Gratitude in the district.

At the same time, gifts were presented to Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, and martyrs' relatives in difficult circumstances in the district./.

At the Nghe An Mental Health Nursing Area and the Nghe An Nursing Center for War Invalids, Nghi Loc district leaders visited the health of war invalids and expressed the gratitude of the district's officials and people to those who sacrificed their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.

The district leaders praised the collective of cadres and civil servants of the two units for overcoming all difficulties to effectively carry out the management and care of wounded soldiers, and hoped that the two units would further promote this work to partly compensate for the sacrifices and losses of the soldiers.

Mother Hoang Thi Ly is 85 years old this year, currently living in Block 6, Nghi Huong Ward, Cua Lo Town. She is the wife of martyr Pham Van Quyen, who sacrificed his life during the resistance war against the US to save the country. Previously, the alley leading to Mother Ly's yard was a dirt road, so during storms, it was difficult for her and her relatives to travel.

The concrete road from the gate to the yard of the mother's house, about 20m long and 1.5m wide, has been completed to help the mother and her family travel more conveniently and easily. All costs for materials, cement, sand, gravel, bricks and labor are jointly guaranteed by the Town Military Command, the Town Youth Union, and the Party Committee of Block 6.

This is a meaningful and humane work of the town's military and union, and the town's local Party Committee and government, contributing to encouraging Mother Ly to overcome some of the difficulties in life to live happily and healthily with her children and grandchildren.
