Where to study, what to study, lessons about self-doubt.
(Baonghean.vn) - To be honest, never before in Vietnam have courses proliferated and developed so impressively. Just typing keywords about courses into Google yields countless results: where to study, what to study. But let's look back; isn't this a lesson in self-doubt?
A few years ago, when affiliate marketing and dropshipping (a retail method where a store doesn't keep products in its inventory; instead, it buys products from a third party and ships them directly to customers) began to emerge and develop in Vietnam, at a time when life was difficult, I realized this was the way to save myself. I would make money even while I slept.
Thinking this way, I secretly embarked on my journey to make money online. Although making money online can start with zero capital, I, and too many others, mistakenly believe it's an easy win. Online marketing and making money online are actually not simple at all, if not extremely difficult.
I started by experimenting, initially needing at least a website, not to mention satellite websites, lead websites, and optimizing influence and engagement on social media platforms.
I chose WordPress as my development platform, but I knew absolutely nothing about coding or web design, so I tried searching online. I started to feel overwhelmed; there were hundreds of online courses advertising self-design, and hundreds of courses on mastering online marketing. Even after gaining the knowledge, you still have to spend money on themes, plugins, domain names, hosting, and to succeed, you have to continue learning all sorts of SEO techniques...
At that time, I estimated that the investment in technical infrastructure alone would cost thousands of dollars, not to mention the cost of courses. I started browsing many popular foreign IT forums, learning how to crack software, hack, and modify source code so I wouldn't have to spend money on courses. (Simply put, I didn't have the money). I don't encourage you to do what I did, but why am I going on like this? Because while browsing and learning these unpromised tips and tricks, I discovered something: most of the online courses advertised online are knowledge that is shared for free in other countries.
Having said that, let me return to the topic of the booming courses in Vietnam. Are these merely tricks or opportunities for certain individuals?
Once I had some understanding of affiliate marketing, I started making money, initially in the technology sector (smartphones, TVs, laptops, etc.). However, as more and more people joined, the commissions decreased. I was searching for something else when I discovered that promoting and selling courses was the easiest and offered incredibly high commissions. Some courses offered attractive commissions of up to 40% of the order value, or even 60% of the course's actual price. This led to a question: Why are they paying such high commissions? One possibility is that you're exceptionally good at your work, another is that their product is worth a fortune, or perhaps the course itself isn't worth a dime.
To be honest, I didn't think much about it back then, as long as I could make money legally. But soon after, I gave up on this area because I realized that while it was touted as humane, it wasn't humane at all.
Some popular online courses include:Facebook MarketingA to ZKisneezecapital citywith Dropshippingon Amazon,or even some courses that I found funny. However, many young people still rush to register for courses such as:Scatterdrive cFind the girl you like in 30 days.and wealth-building courses...
Please remember that the expert who teaches how to win over the girl you like, as far as I know, used to be a perpetually heartbroken expert. And Napoleon Hill, the father of the self-help genre, never succeeded in any field in his life (he went bankrupt a few times) except for the field of self-help, which many consider to be the most important field.selling pricedreamcolorfor the (regularly) poor.
So why and what makes those courses mentioned above so interesting and time-consuming for you? The crux of the matter is that you are confused about your own knowledge; what do you learn from those courses, or are they just lessons about self-doubt? I think instead of spending time contemplating those courses, you should build your own learning method. Learn one or more lessons from your own real-life experiences. Don't be a guinea pig for many lifetimes. Remember: "All theories are gray, only the tree of life is eternally green" - (Goethe).
