Students from Nghe An province win top prizes at the National Innovation Competition.

(Baonghean.vn) - At the 11th National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition, students from Nghe An province won third prize and consolation prizes.

On the evening of October 15th, the closing ceremony and awards presentation for the 11th National Creative Competition for Children and Young People was held at the Hanoi Grand Theatre, with the participation of leaders from central and local ministries and agencies, as well as award-winning children and students from across the country.

The organizers presented awards to the outstanding authors.

This year's national competition features 554 projects and solutions from 49 provinces and cities across five categories: learning aids; computer software; environmentally friendly products; household appliances and children's toys; and environmental protection and economic development.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 106 outstanding projects, including 1 Special Prize, 5 First Prizes, 10 Second Prizes, 30 Third Prizes, and 60 Consolation Prizes. Among them, Nghe An province had 2 projects that won prizes, including 1 Third Prize and 1 Consolation Prize.

The third prize in Nghe An went to the solution "AS2 suite software" by Tran Manh Cuong, class 11A1, Anh Son 2 High School; the consolation prize went to the solution "Automation of aquaculture care processes in ponds and lakes" by authors Hoang Anh Tuan and Hoang Duc Tuan, class 11A3, Nguyen Truong To High School, Hung Nguyen district.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the organizing committee, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Dac Vinh, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, launched the 12th competition in 2016.
