Students from Nghe An win first prize in the national "Road Safety in Schools" competition.

(Baonghean.vn) - After nearly a year since its launch, the "School Traffic Safety" competition has found its first prize winner. That winner is Nguyen Duc Nhat, a student in class 12A1 at Le Hong Phong High School (Hung Nguyen).

This information was just sent from Hanoi by teacher Ho Van Hoang, the school's Youth Union Secretary. The awards ceremony was held on the evening of May 29th.

Representatives of the Organizing Committee presented the First Prize to two contestants from Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces.

The "School Traffic Safety" competition was organized by the National Traffic Safety Committee, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Road Administration, and Egame Education Group Joint Stock Company. Despite being its first year, the competition attracted nearly 200,000 students from over 3,000 high schools nationwide, with three exciting rounds: school level, provincial/city level, and national level.

In Nghe An, after winning first prize at the provincial level, Nguyen Duc Nhat was the only student selected to compete at the national level. There, he surpassed 41 contestants from 39 provinces and cities nationwide, winning first prize after two rounds of competition: a live competition and a public speaking round.

Previously, Nguyen Duc Nhat was also an outstanding student at Le Hong Phong High School, achieving the title of all-around excellent student for three consecutive years.
