Studying Ho Chi Minh's ideology must be a voluntary endeavor.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 12, the Central Propaganda Department organized an online conference for speakers from the Provincial and City Party Committees directly under the Central Committee for October 2016.

Comrade Mai Văn Ninh, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, attended and presented a report at the conference.

Comrade Kha Van Tam, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, chaired the meeting at the Nghe An branch. Attending the conference were representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, provincial Party Committee speakers, and Deputy Secretaries and Heads of the Propaganda Departments of districts and cities in the province.

Comrade Kha Van Tam, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, chaired the conference at the Nghe An branch.

At the conference, Professor Hoang Chi Bao from the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy presented a specialized topic on "Fundamental and Core Issues Regarding Ho Chi Minh's Thought, Morality, and Style," based on Directive 05 of the 12th Politburo, with three main contents: an overview of the value and significance of Directive 05; the core content of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style, emphasizing style as it is the crystallization of both his thought and morality; and the imprint of Ho Chi Minh's will.

The presenters listened to Professor Hoang Chi Bao's lecture.

Also at the conference, leaders of the Central Propaganda Department emphasized the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW, dated May 15, 2016, of the Politburo and Plan No. 03-KH/TW, dated July 25, 2016, of the Central Party Secretariat on "Promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style."

Along with that, there is a directive to strengthen the Central Committee's resolution on combating moral and lifestyle degradation, contributing to the rectification and building of a clean and strong Party. It is proposed that the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh Thought must become a voluntary activity of every Party organization, mass organization, and individual Party member.

Also this morning, Comrade Kha Van Tam - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department - briefed on the propaganda content for October and the remaining months of the year, including: directing the effective implementation of studying and researching Directive 26 of the Prime Minister; the content of the 4th Central Committee Conference and the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly; focusing on promoting the achievement of economic targets for 2016, paying attention to solutions to ensure budget revenue, and supporting people in completing the 2016 winter crop production plan; publicizing the results of the 15th Provincial Women's Union Congress; some issues related to education and training: guiding public opinion, encouraging children to attend school, promoting the tradition of studiousness and respect for teachers to celebrate November 20th; paying attention to current domestic and international issues, especially the relationship between Vietnam and the Philippines, the Philippines and China, and the US presidential election.
